International Migratory Bird Day: Birding Bonanza - SOLD OUT

Sat May 8, 2021
10:00am ET
All ages

Join RIPA for a fun and informative morning of socially distanced birding. Take a nature walk from the 103rd Street Footbridge looking for some of the migratory birds that use Randall’s Island to rest and refuel on their incredible journeys to their final nesting sites for the summer.

Participants receive free information and craft kits from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology to help celebrate urban birds. Binoculars are available and sterilized before and after each use, though bringing your own pair is encouraged. All are welcome! Advance registration required for the bird walk.
