Farmhouse Family Day: Spring Break Adventures at Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum

This spring break, families and kids are invited to visit the Wykoff Farmhouse for daily activities including planting and cooking on a campfire.
Please note that this is not a drop-off program—child participants must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program. Space is limited, pre-registration is required.
DATES & THEMES
Tuesday, April 23rd - Plants on the Farm (all ages)
Spend a day on the Wyckoff Farm, becoming acquainted with some early Spring herbs and plants. Create and sample your own herbal tea blend with herbs from our garden.
12pm- Drop-in activities
1pm - Herbal Tea Making
2pm - Activities wrap up and clean up
Wednesday, April 24th - Campfire Cooking- Day 1 (ages 7-12)
Learn about historic cooking practices and explore spring-themed recipes from the 17th century. Day 1 focuses on preparing take-home sourdough starters and learning safe campfire techniques.

1pm - Campfire safety & cooking demonstrations

Thursday, April 25th - Campfire Cooking - Part 2 (ages 7-12)
The focus of Day 2 is learning to cook a historic recipe over a campfire and, of course, tasting a delicious veggie-based creation
