Celebrate Día de los Muertos with a day of family-friendly activities that include artmaking, storytelling and more. Learn traditional Mexican folk-art techniques and customs and honor loved ones by making nicho boxes to share on a community ofrenda and papel picado, or punched paper, to design your own colorful banners to bring the celebration home with you.   

Saturday & Sunday:

10am – 1pm Family Art Project: Create nicho boxes - small shadow boxes that honor a loved one.

Saturday only:

11:30am – 12pm & 12:30pm – 1pm Día de los Muertos Storytime with Literacy in Community: It's Skeleton Time! by Ana Galan.

1pm – 3pm Día de Los Muertos Art Workshop: Papel Picado with Blanka Amezkua.
