CarMax is building a mini lot and bringing 40K mini cars to The High Line to present an immersive wonderland full of art, test tracks, games, and prizes, with a tiny CarMax store at the center.

The CarMax mini experience features:

  • A 455-square foot mosaic of the NYC skyline made from 40,000 toy cars by artist Kevin Champney
  • A toy car track that runs along The High Line for kids to play on
  • A ‘Car Bar’ station for kids to decorate toy cars with mini bumper stickers
  • Chances to win prizes, like a weekend escape to the Catskills, Nets and Liberty tickets, gift cards to some favorite iconic NYC restaurants, and more
