16th Annual Brooklyn Children’s Book Fair

The annual Brooklyn Children's Book Fair brings together 40 Brooklyn authors and illustrators to share their latest books. Throughout the day, children and their companions can attend readings and presentations, learn about the creative process, get books signed, and have fun drawing and coloring.

Participants include Selina Alko, Adam Auerbach, Gabrielle Balkan, Kristen Balouch, Melinda Beck, Artie Bennett, Molly Brooks, Keith Henry Brown, Matthew Burgess, Ruth Chan, Nina Crews, John Patrick Green, Abby Hanlon, Michael Hearst, Tad Hills, Kate Hosford, Melissa Iwai, Caron Levis, Laura Ljungkvist, Torrey Maldonado, Denis Markell, Yona McDonough, Kate Milford, Yevgenia Nayberg, Christopher Silas Neal, George O’Connor, Jessica Ralli, Julia Sarcone-Roach, Adam Rubin, Misa Saburi, Stephen Savage, Amy Schwartz, Aimée Sicuro, Hannah Stark, Joshua David Stein, Lesley Ware, Katie Yamasaki, James Yang, Hyewon Yum, and Gracey Zhang.

12–12:20 pm: Picture book reading with Caron Levis
12:30–12:50 pm: Picture book reading with Ruth Chan
1–1:20 pm: Picture book reading with Kristen Balouch
1:30–1:50 pm: Illustrator presentation with James Yang
2–2:20 pm: Picture book reading with Nina Crews
2:30–2:50 pm: Illustrator presentation with Adam Auerbach
3–3:30 pm: Middle-grade author panel (ages 9+) with Torrey Maldonado, Yona McDonough, and Kate Milford
