Join this afternoon of Cinco de Mayo festivities including music and food and drink outdoors, if the weather permits. There will also be a leisurely musical brunch and traditional craft activities.

Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican victory at the Battle of Puebla, defeating the French troops on May 5, 1862. The French prevailed and sent the Archduke Maximillian of Austria to rule until 1867. That period brought German beer brewing techniques and started a new musical tradition in Mexico.

If the weather is inclement, the festivities will move indoors.
