Now in its 47th year, the ECC offers an inclusive and comprehensive preschool program emphasizing the social, emotional, and physical development of kids ages 2-5.

The ECC is thrilled to be opening a second location, in Prospect Heights—a brand new, state-of-the-art space steps from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Museum, and Prospect Park.

Whichever location you choose—Prospect Heights or Park Slope—you'll find a preschool where you and your family can thrive. The play-based curriculum emerges organically from your child’s interests, ideas and experiences, maximizing the potential and participation of all types of learners in its classrooms. The flexible schedule allows for full days, half days, and extended care. The kids explore every day—whether they’re swimming in the school's pool, playing in Prospect Park, going on walks around the Park Slope and Prospect Heights neighborhoods, or diving into activities including music, creative movement, and art.

The school's approach to Judaism is accessible and relevant—using songs, food, rituals, and more to impart diverse values and traditions. Some families choose to enroll in the Dual Language Program. Many are from different faiths. All religious backgrounds are welcome at ECC.
