Want to spark your child’s creativity and innovative spirit this summer? Send your camper to one of the STEAM, performing arts, or world explorers programs at Marymount Summer. For over 30 years, Marymount Summer has offered specialty camps for budding artists, actors, inventors, explorers, and makers. Located in landmark school buildings across the street from Central Park, Marymount Summer provides campers with the best facilities for indoor and outdoor summer fun. 

Drama Camp is an enriching performing arts experience for boys and girls in rising grades K-8 who have a passion for musical theater and drama. Campers focus on acting, dance, and singing, with specialty classes offered in theater history, playwriting, directing, and costume design. Divided according to age and ability, the program is structured to provide an introduction to the craft of performance or a more intensive study for those students with more experience. Campers will perform a full-book musical at the end of the camp season.

Utilizing state-of-the-art makerspaces and science labs, Marymount STEAM Camps immerse campers in coding, programming, engineering, art, and design. Seasoned educators engage children in rising K-6 in prototyping, experimenting, creative problem solving, and risk-taking as they build essential skills for the future. From robotics to forensic science, from surgical techniques to video game design, STEAM Camp is sure to ignite your child’s curiosity and passion for innovation.

Last but certainly not least, World Explorers Day Camp, Marymount Summer’s inventive early childhood program for campers ages 3.5-5 years old, is back by popular demand. Led by expert early childhood educators, campers explore a different country every week, learning about the language, cuisine, art, culture, customs, and celebrations that make each nation unique and beautiful. This curriculum helps children develop social, emotional, and cognitive confidence while having fun.

Marymount Summer runs for 5 weeks. Weekly sign-up is available for most programs. All camps include daily outdoor sports and games and weekly field trips.
