Kids at Work
Kids at Work is a 1,800-square-foot space that presents classes, birthday parties, Preschool Prep Separation, and Summer Camp for children ages infant through 5 years old. Kids at Work features an "all drop-in" schedule of classes in soccer, sensory play, music, cooking, sign language, speech development, dance, and more. Families can do single drop-in classes (with reservation) or purchase a package that never expires and come to any class. Kids at Work was established in 2007, and is located at 147 W24th Street on the 2nd floor, with an elevator. There is ample indoor space for your stroller.
For Birthday Parties, Kids at Work can accommodate up to 20 children and 40 adults, and programming is personalized for a less "cookie cutter" experience. A professional party planner is included with your party, in addition to all food/drink for kids, professional singer-guitarist included, sensory play, all supplies for activities, and 4 workers at each party (with more staff for larger parties). Visit the website for more information and party rates.
The Kids at Work Preschool Prep Separation program is a specialized program for children aged 18 months - 2.7 years as of entry points in Sept, Jan, and June. Children in this program work towards full separation in the classroom for 2 hours, twice per week while caregivers wait in a separate room with one way view into the classroom. This program features a 3.5:1 ratio and includes messy sensory play, musician including guitar, large motor play, and a child directed curriculum. More info on Preschool Prep and virtual open houses can be found on our website!
The Kids at Work Summer Camp is a full drop-off licensed program taking place at Corlears School in Chelsea. This program is for children aged 2-3 who have already separated in a classroom. The program is care-focused, featuring a 4:1 ratio. Campers can register by the week for 2, 3, or 5 days and engage in plenty of outdoor play in the Corlears private playground, music, fun weekly themes including lots of sensory play, science, and messy art. They also enjoy sprinkler play and a singer-guitarist twice per week.
