Come celebrate Major General Baron von Steuben's birthday with the Bergen County Historical Society at their annual Baron at Historic New Bridge Landing. Kids can enjoy free pumpkin picking and other activities including a scavenger hunt.

Alementary Brewery, Brix City Brewery, and Hackensack Brewery will be on site offering the finest in craft beers. German Riesling wine will be available for purchase by the galss and NoCo Catering will be serving tradtional German fare. Food and beer; additional cost.

Throughout the day, Revolutionary War reenactment group Motts Artillery will be on site demonstrating cannon firing and the Hudson Woodpile Band will be providing musical entertainment. Take your photo with Major General Baron von Steuben.

All three 18th century Jersey-Dutch Sandstone houses, the Westervelt-Thomas barn, and the out ktichen will be open for tours. The Blackhorse Inn will also be open where visitors may purchase refreshments and visit the gift shop.

In the Steuben House, a state historic site, a new exhibit "New Bridge in the American Revolution: Artifacts and Maps" includes enlargements on nine period maps.

Free parking available on site. Dogs are permitted on the grounds (not in the houses).
