The Enchanted Forest Book Fair Comes to MKA
- see all dates
The Enchanted Forest Book Fair is coming to Montclair Kimberley Academy (MKA) campus and will have something for everyone. Organized by the Parents’ Association of MKA, this tri-campus book fair has become a highlight of the school and community life.
Confirmed authors and illustrators include Derrick Barnes, Jerry Pallotta, Rafael Lopez, (MKA’s own) Yesenia Ravelo-Rodriguez, Mac Barnett, Erin Entrada Kelly, Varian Johnson, Rita Williams Garcia, and Amy Bass.
In addition to author visits and signings, the MKA Book Fair has become a vehicle for tri-campus community building, teacher appreciation efforts, and support of MKA’s partnership with KIPP:NJ, a nonprofit which operates a network of public charter schools in Newark and Camden, NJ. Since l996, some of the world's most respected children’s authors have visited the Book Fair.
