RiverFest: Pirates of the Hackensack Fishing Derby

Young fisherman are invited to join Hackensack Riverkeeper and the Hudson River Fishermen’s Association for a pirate-themed catch-and-release fishing derby. The event benefits Hackensack Riverkeeper.

Space is limited, face coverings are required and social distancing will be enforced. Spaces will be marked off and fishing gear will be sanitized in between each angler’s use.

Registration is limited to 3 people per space with 1 adult required per space. Walk-ups cannot be accommodated.

Prizes will be given out for a variety of categories, including but not limited to biggest fish, first fish, etc. Participants, aged 16 and up, must register with NJDEP Saltwater Recreational Registry Program to participate.
