Holiday Chestnuts and Sing-along
Join Ruth Ochs and the Westminster Community Orchestra for their annual family holiday concert The free performance will feature holiday favorites such as Irving Berlin’s White Christmas and the prelude to Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel.
The concert will also include A Most Wonderful Christmas (Sheldon, arr.) and the holiday medley Around the World at Christmas Time (Chase, arr.), as well as orchestra member Beth Gaynor LaPat’s Chanukah Songs. The audience is invited to join the orchestra in Finnegan’s popular Christmas Sing-along, as well as Handel’s beloved and rousing “Hallelujah Chorus” from Messiah (vocal scores will be provided).
No tickets are required for the hour-long program.
Free-will monetary and non-perishable/non-expired food donations to benefit area food pantries will be accepted.
