Second Annual 5k Run/Walk in Asbury Park to Benefit Local L.E.A.D. Program for Kids
Law Enforcement Against Drugs (L.E.A.D.) is hosting its second annual 5k Run/Walk in Asbury Park. Hosted by L.E.A.D., which teaches students about the dangers of drugs and violence, the race takes place at Bradley Park.
Supported by dedicated police officers, L.E.A.D. provides leadership and resources so law enforcement agencies can partner with educators, community leaders and families with the only proven effective anti–drug, anti–violence curriculum for students K-12.
The race is a loop, starting and finishing from the Convention Hall. It will go down the boardwalk, through Ocean Grove and Bradley Beach, turning at the fountain in Bradley Park. All runners are provided with accurate times.
See website fo the schedule.
Participants may register pre-race day for $30 or on race day for $35. 75% of net profits raised from the 5K go toward the Asbury Park local L.E.A.D. chapter.
