Read & Pick is an innovative program that combines hands-on farm activity with your child, followed by an education program with stories highlighting the fruit or farm area. For this program, young farmers are welcome to celebrate everything wonderful about vegetables. 

See how one of the amazing first spring crops grows. Participants read books about vegetables, followed by an educational component. Then everyone picks his or her own small container of asparagus.   The farm staff explains how vegetables grow and how they should be picked.

The cost includes the container of asparagus. There are two sessions on  Tuesdays at 9:30 am and 11 am, lasting about one hour. Online pre-purchase of tickets is required.
