Parents and young children are welcome to celebrate everything wonderful about chickens at this Read & Pick program. Participants hear two books about chickens and learn the many ways chickens are useful to humans.

Visit the “lady hens,” make a clucking chicken, and even learn a dance.

Read & Pick is an innovative program that combines hands-on farm activity with your young child followed by an education program with stories highlighting the fruit or farm area. 

The cost is $12 per child and includes the craft activity.  Two sessions: 9:30 am and 11 am, lasting about one hour. Online pre-purchase of tickets is required.
