Celebrate Presidents' Day and Abraham Lincoln's birthday at MHHM. Families trace the route of Abraham Lincoln's famous whistle-stop train trip that brought him to Washington, D.C. in 1861 to take the presidential oath of office and begin his presidency.

Families use “travel cards” to learn about significant events that occurred during the trip, including the roles that famous 19th-century American detective Allan Pinkerton and the first American female private eye, Kate Warne, played in protecting the president-elect.

Activities recommended for children aged 7-12 years old. Pre-registration is required.

Adults/caregivers are required to stay with their children throughout the program.

Schedule:

February 12: 3:30-5pm
February 14: 10-11:30am
