The R Child is your neighborhood's super power STEAM center. Its mission is to help parents uncover their kids’ passion for STEM. The R Child takes an innovative approach to education, introducing STEAM at an early age. The center offers a variety of activities for kids ages 0 to 16 which include a Montessori-based early learning studio classes for younger students and a Robotics Lab where elementary and middle school students start with building their first robot and advance to preparing for robotics and coding competitions. Located in the heart of Fort Lee, the 4000-square-foot facility offers a vibrant, dynamic space where families can come together to learn, celebrate, and connect with a community of like-minded explorers.

Throughout the year The R Child's robotics teams participate in different local and international competitions for elementary and middle school students. Its students are winners of various competitions, showcasing their technical proficiency and strategic thinking. These competitions are an excellent way to prepare students for tech high schools and add valuable experience to their resumes, helping them stand out in future academic and career opportunities.

STEAM AND ROBOTICS SUMMER CAMPS

• Explorers Camp for Preschoolers: hands-on STEAM workshops, science, biology, makerspace, coding, lego engineering, arts, and music. 

• STEAM & Robotics Camps (ages 5 to 14) provide the perfect opportunity for kids to explore or advance in LEGO and VEX robotics, coding (Scratch, Python, Minecraft, or Roblox), 3D modeling with TinkerCad, and more.
