NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale's Sensory Saturdays program is an initiative aimed at providing a sensory-inclusive museum experience for children with diverse neurodivergent needs, ages 6-17, and their families.

As the only KultureCity certified museum in Broward, NSU Art Museum is committed to inclusivity for individuals with sensory needs.

Sensory Saturdays offers early, free access to galleries, featuring adjustments for low lighting and reduced sound. The staff has been trained to understand sensory processing needs, and KultureCity Sensory Bags—equipped with noise-canceling headphones, weighted lap pads, and sensory supplies—are available to enhance comfort for all visitors.

REGISTRATION: Opens one month before each event and is required.
