The City of Coral Gables invites community members with autism and other sensory sensitivities to join the Independence Day festivities from Ruth Bryan Owen Waterway Park.

Guests will enjoy:

  • Free on-site parking
  • A premier view of the fireworks display
  • Indoor quiet area
  • Sensory-friendly outdoor games including bubbles, crafts, sports, and a marshmallow roast

Guests are welcome to bring outside food and non-alcoholic beverages.

The following are not allowed at Sensory Friendly 4th of July

  • Weapons
  • Personal Fireworks, including sparklers
  • Pets
  • Alcohol
