Sea Turtle Walks with The Museum of Discovery and Science
Come see sea turtles in their nesting grounds with a museum expert.
Guests start the guided tour at the Museum with a presentation about turtles then head to Fort Lauderdale Beach where a Museum expert guides them to sea turtle nesting grounds. This guided tour does not guarantee seeing a nesting sea turtle, so be prepared to potentially do this more than one time.
Transportation is not provided. Participants may park in the Museum bus loop when arriving to the Museum portion of the tour. This is on a first-come, first-served basis.
All attendants must be at least 9 years old and prepared to walk 1– 2 miles in the sand when at the beach.
Space is limited, and you must register prior to attending the tour.
Things to know:
Bring your own rain gear and snacks.
Do not wear lighted shoes.
Dates are subject to change.
This tour begins at 8pm and ends at 1am.
