Enjoy a sky filled with hundreds of colorful kites, including dozens of giant show kites, during the annual Miami Kite Festival.

This is the biggest kiting event in Florida and you can expect to see a giant flying whale, octopus, cuttlefish, astronaut, parafoils, stingray, and more.

Those who just want to watch can bring a blanket and enjoy the kites in the air while listening to music. Food and refreshments are available for purchase.

Note: No dogs (except service animals), no glass, and no polystyrene/styrofoam products allowed.
