Halloween at Pennekamp
Join the Halloween fun on Key Largo at this annual family celebration at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Kids can show off their costumes at a trunk-or-treat, visit the Not-So-Scary Aquarium, and enjoy a spooky trail.
This year's event features:
*Trunk or Treat at Cannon Beach Parking Lots 5:30PM to 8:00PM
Grab your bags, play some games, and see your favorite non-profits during the Trunk or Treat at Cannon Beach.
*A-scare-ium 5:30PM to 8:30PM
Dive into the A-scare-ium where you can see the fish, meet a mermaid, and learn about the ocean.
*Spooky Trail 5:30PM to 8:30PM
The spooky trail is back for 2024! During the daylight, walk the trail and see the spooky decorations without worrying about the frights. At 6:30, the frights begin as the spooky trail is covered in darkness.
*Captain Coral shows! Check out the Facebook page for the most up to date schedule.
*Costume contest: Volunteers will be out and about giving away Family membership to Friends of John Pennekamp.
Admission is free thanks to donations from sponsors, however donations are appreciated to support future park programs and projects. The recommended donation is $10 per car.
