Broward Children’s Center hosts its annual Miles for Smiles 5K. Runners, walkers, families, community leaders, wheelchairs, and strollers of all ages come together to raise funds and awareness to support Broward Children’s Center. The event features a family-friendly 5K, children’s activities, live entertainment, raffles, an awards ceremony, and more.

Miles for Smiles benefits Broward Children’s Center, a nonprofit organization that has been serving infants, children, and young adults with special needs since 1971. Proceeds support Broward Children’s Center’s crucial programs and medical, developmental, and therapeutic services designed to meet the specific needs of infants, children and young adults who are developmentally disabled and medically fragile and their families.

Participants can join the event as an individual or a team and conduct online fundraising prior to race day.

Miles for Smiles race day check-in opens at 8:00 am and the 5K begins at 9:00 am.  After the race, an awards ceremony and a raffle takes place.
