It's the next best thing to being there! Heal the Bay’s Santa Monica Pier Aquarium reveals what lies beneath the surface of our beautiful Pacific Ocean. The virtual exhibit “Underwater Treasure” shows the wonders of our local underwater paradises through a 360-degree experience.

Ali Miller joins the celebration with a special Story Time and craft activity at 3pm. Ali reads from her new picture book, How Cara Lost Her Color, which is a beautifully illustrated story about how coral reefs are so important to our ocean ecosystem.

Underwater Parks Day events are also being held at other Southern California aquariums, including the Aquarium of the Pacific and Cabrillo Marine Aquarium.
