Saban Community Clinic holds its annual vaccine drive for kids as a drive-up all-day event. Though LAUSD campuses will be closed, vaccines are still required to register for school, and parents are advised to keep up to date with their child’s vaccines. Even those with no insurance can enroll and get their vaccinations through Saban Community Clinic.

Families that schedule their appointment are entered into a raffle for a Chromebook with a wireless mouse to help students start off the school year with some tools for distant learning. Giveaways, music, balloons, and guest appearances can be enjoyed from the safety of guests' cars.

Families can schedule a time by calling 323.653.1990 or via the Saban Clinic website then drive up for their vaccination. Families remain in their vehicle in their designated parking spots for their appointment. Medical staff or enrollment specialists approach their vehicle to gather necessary information and administer vaccinations.

If a family needs health insurance, on-site enrollment specialists can ensure the child receives the care they need. For any children having difficulty, a special outdoor area is available to vaccinate in a safe way.

Regarding costs: "Saban Community Clinic participates in the Vaccines For Children (VFC) program and never charges the cost of vaccines to children. Vaccines are offered at zero cost to all uninsured and underinsured patients under 19 years old regardless of income. If a child comes without insurance, Saban will not charge them for the vaccine."
