Spiders versus butterflies, ladybugs versus cockroaches…… Why do we love some bugs, and fear others? This fun and educational program explores this question while introducing guests to the Arboretum's resident tarantula, millipede, hissing cockroaches, and worms, and learning about what makes these critters special.

Participants get up close and personal with the bugs, (and even get to touch some of them!) while gaining a better understanding of and appreciation for these dynamic creatures we share the earth with.

The program ends with releasing ladybugs into the garden, followed by a craft making “love bug” antennae!
