Norton Simon Fall Family Festival: Family Festival: Time Travel
This year's fall family festival at the Norton Simon is themed to travel through time. Families are taken on a journey around the world and through time with pop-up art-making workshops in the galleries and garden.
Guests can join a time-travel workshop with educators from the creative writing organization 826LA, create their own time travel luggage and journal, design their own time machine, write postcards from the 18th century, create 17th-century inspired hats and explore 19th-century Paris.
Other ways to experience the world include listening to the sounds of ancient Indian instruments, and enjoying story time in 20th-century Europe.
This event is free for all children 18 and younger. Adults pay general admission.
