LA Arts Society Drive-In Cinema pays tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman with a drive-in screening of the James Brown biopic Get On Up.

Based on the incredible life story of the Godfather of Soul, Get On Up gives a fearless look inside the music, moves, and moods of James Brown, taking audiences on the journey from his impoverished childhood to his evolution into one of the most influential figures of the 20th century. The film is rated PG-13.

Movie starts at 8pm. Gates open at 6:30pm.Cars are placed on a first-come, first-served basis, one car at a time, and in sections based on size of car and desired style of viewing. Arrive early for priority drive-in spots.

This is a outdoor Drive-In event, with no outdoor speakers. The film’s soundtrack is accessible exclusively through your car’s FM Radio, for maximum social-distance safety.
