Music Under the Stars
The Pasadena Symphony and POPS present a free concert under the stars at Pasadena City Hall.
Resident POPS Conductor Larry Blank leads the orchestra in a celebration of the best of Broadway, featuring the music of Jerry Herman, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Cy Coleman, Stephen Schwartz and more.
The gates open for food trucks and family fun at 6pm. Preshow activities include face painting, balloon animals, a musical instrument petting zoo and more
The concert begins at 8pm.
This concert is free to the public, no tickets or reservations are required. The concert lasts about 75 minutes. Guests are advised to dress comfortably and bring a jacket or sweater for the evening as the weather cools. The concert is performed on the plaza in front of city hall, so please bring a lawn chair and/or blanket. Folding chairs may be rented for a small fee. Seating is open, non-reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
Picnic dinners allowed, but please note no alcohol is permitted.
Several parking options are located near City Hall, including Plaza Las Fuentes structure (enter on Union and Los Robles Ave); the parking structure at 330 E. Union (between Euclid and Garfield); Paseo Colorado subterranean garage (entrances on Colorado and Green St.). Metered street parking is also available on nearby streets.
