Malibu Creek State Park recalls its movie heritage with a free screening of The Second Time Around, a 1961 comedy starring Debbie Reynolds.

From 1946 to 1974 today’s park was a movie ranch owned by 20th Century Fox where dozens of movies and TV shows were made. The film is a romantic comedy starring Debbie Reynolds as the innocent city girl who travels to the wildness of the frontier west. Filmed in CinemaScope.

Guests should park in the lower lot and walk a short distance to the outdoor amphitheater. Parking is $3 an hour. $12 maximum.
