Getty visitors can get fired up about clay in this hands-on family workshop and discover how artists transform earth and water into the beautiful ceramics on view at the Getty Center.

Participants can try the potter's wheel, make a decorative mold, or add a creature to the collaborative clay project. Things get squishy at the touch table, with the opportunity to explore different clay bodies including earthenware, stoneware and porcelain. L.A.-based ceramic artist Wayne Perry guides the experience. This is a free, drop-in program. No ticket required.

On-site parking is $15 per car or motorcycle.
