You'll thrill!  You'll chill!  You'll stop and say "so that's where they got the idea for that!"  The Natural History Museum's newest exhibition explores the science behind our favorite monstrous tales!

People have a strange curiosity for mysterious, eerie, and grotesque monsters,  thrilling to the intense, heart-pounding bursts of adrenaline that horror movies provide.

The new exhibition Natural History of Horror explores the scientific inspiration for classic monsters from Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy, and Creature from the Black Lagoon.

Visitors can view rare movie props, film footage, hands-on activities, and museum specimens.

The exhibit is open during normal museum hours, from 9:30am-5pm.
