The animals join in on celebrating our planet: the Los Angeles Zoo annual event honors the Earth and its rich biodiversity, featuring fun and inspiring activities, entertainment, and presentations focused on conservation, sustainability, and community.
Wild for the Planet highlights include:
- Earth Expo, with conservation and community organizations
- Honey Tasting $4 per person
- Planting for Pollinators Station
- Upcycling Inspiration Lab
- Education Stations about Great Apes and Wildlife Corridors
- Animal Care presentations at 11am and 2pm (detail tba)
- Performances by 3rd Rock Hip Hop
- Storytime with Los Angeles Public Library on Friday; and Suzanne and Max Lang (Grumpy Monkey) on Saturday.
The Big Bunny is on site for photos; (no personal photos, photo packages available for purchase).
