The Academy Museum screens the Pixar classic WALL-E for Earth Day.

About the film: A lonely waste-collecting robot on the abandoned Earth in the year 2815 CE unexpectedly falls in love with another robot and manages to save the human race in this hilarious and touching computer-animated feature from writer-director Andrew Stanton. One of the most unusual and ambitious films in the Pixar filmography, it won an Animated Feature Film Oscar and earned nominations for its original screenplay, sound mixing, sound editing, score, and the Peter Gabriel song “Down To Earth.”

WALL-E is rated G and has a run time of 97 minutes. The cast includes Ben Burtt, Elissa Knight, Jeff Garlin, and Fred Willard.
