The Fantastic Four take their first steps -- to the El Capitan Theatre for a pair of Fan Events for the opening of The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

About the film:  Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world,  The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First Family: Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ben Grimm/The Thing as they face their most daunting challenge yet. Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer.

The film's cast includes Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

Extras at the El Capitan include a display of costumes and props from the movie and a The Thing and H.E.R.B.I.E. statue photo op.

Fans can attend the Opening Night screening on Thursday, July 24 at 7:15pm. Tickets are $50 and include an event credential, collectible popcorn tin with popcorn, and fountain drink.

There is also a Fan Event on on Friday, July 25 at 7:15pm. There are 3 different ticket packages for the Fan Event, ranging from $30 - $125. All Fan event tickets include a reserved seat and event credential. The higher priced tickets include popcorn and a drink, as well as various collectible items.

The film continues its run at the El Capitan through August 3, 2025.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps​ is rated PG-13 for action/violence and some language, and has a runtime of 2 hours and 6 minutes.
