The La Brea Tar Pits and Museum offers two Homeschool Days each school year.

On these days, homeschoolers and their families receive free Museum admission and special Homeschool Day programming. April's event uncovers La Brea's Ice Age Ecosystems.

Each Homeschool Day has an assigned theme with free drop-in activities designed to help students get the most out of the exhibits. Specific details about Homeschool Day theme and special programming offered are released at least two weeks prior to the event.
