Santa Ski Sunday at Mountain High (Santas Ski Free!)
This annual event at Mountain High is a win-win: arrive at the slope dressed as Santa Claus with proof that you've made the requested charitable donation, and your lift ticket is free. Or just turn up in your usual winter gear and spend a day skiing with a mountain full of Santas!
The holiday event serves as a fundraiser; this year's charity is Christmas Cheer All Year. To take part in Santa Sunday, guests are asked to pre-register for the event and donate a minimum of $50 to help children in need (so in fact the free lift ticket is really $50, but compared to $99 normally, that's pretty close to free). Receipts for online donations must be presented at registration to claim a day ticket.
The Santa suit must include hat, beard, coat, belt, and pants. (Santa-adjacent costumes such as Mrs. Claus or the Grinch are accepted within reason).
Participants must pick up their tickets, sign liability forms, and be at the Snowflake chairlift before 9am to participate in a Santa Sunday group ride. An 8am arrival is recommended. Photo ID is required.
Schedule:
8am: Pick up tickets at the Registration Booth in front of Guest Services.
9am: Meet at bottom of Snowflake Chairlift for the Santa Run.
10am: All Santas able to navigate Intermediate terrain can join the 2nd run from the top.
