Nintendo Summer of Play
- see all dates
If summer has to come to an end, then at least end it with Nintendo.
The Nintendo Summer of Play brings exhibits and hands-on gameplay of the latest from Nintendo to Santa Monica Place.
The free pop-up experience allows families hands-on playtime with some of the hottest Nintendo games on the Nintendo Switch - OLED model. Guests can take pictures, win prizes, and immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of Nintendo.
Highlights include photo ops with Isabelle and Tom Nook from the Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and with Pikachu and other Pokémon featured in the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games. There are opportunities to play Nintendo Switch games at the event, including the new Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game.
Attendees receive a free Nintendo Summer of Play passport, which can be stamped after participating in various activities at the event. Once they've completed their passports, guests have an opportunity to receive free Nintendo goodies (while supplies last).
Event hours:
Friday, August 25: 10am – 8pm
Saturday, August 26: 10am – 8pm
Sunday, August 27: 11am – 7pm
Monday, August 28: 10am – 8pm
Activities are located on the East Court Level 1 (across from World of Barbie).
