March is Mermaid Month at Ventura Harbor Village, with two special days filled with mermaid activities, including a chance to meet mermaids in person!

Activities on both March 8 and March 22 include:

• Live mermaid meet-and-greets
• A mermaid A dance party with DJ Darla,
• Bubble Magic by SB Bubble Guy
• Live music from the Anacapa Ukulele Band and tropical steel drum performances.
• Hands-on activities such as mermaid poster coloring, an ocean-themed slime Station, and the Junior Explorers sensory bin

Special Activities on March 8

• Pirate Ship Play Zone
• Live chalk art creations
• Ocean-themed crafts by Las Posas Children’s Center
• A bubble house,
• Educational booth from the Surfrider Foundation promoting ocean conservation.

Special Activities on March 22

• Live ice sculpting mermaid demonstration by Chef Jean Luc of Le Petit Café & Bakery
• Craft ocean-themed keepsakes with Lakeshore Learning,
• Design-your-own mermaid bracelet to take home.

Kids and visitors are encouraged to dress up as mermaids, mermen, pirates, or their favorite ocean creatures.
