Make Music LA
Make Music Los Angeles is a live, free musical celebration on the longest day of the year. From 10 in the morning to 10 at night, musicians of all ages, creeds, and musical persuasions—from hip hop to opera, Latin jazz to punk rock—perform on streets, sidewalks, plazas, cemeteries, parks, and gardens.
From high school bands to marquee names, MMLA is open to anyone who wants to take part, enjoyed by everyone who wants to attend.
Some locations may host a single performance, others may have multiples performances throughout the day. Rain may cancel at some locations.
Venues and performances can be found on the LA Listings Map.
Make Music is an international event, with 700 cities across the globe, (Athens to Austin, Beijing to Boston, and many more) participating.
