This month at OCMA, guests don't just view art, they MAKE art!

Leading to the opening of the 2025 California Biennial: Desperate, Scared, But Social, the museum hosts hands-on projects inspired by current exhibitions, California-based artists in the collection, and works from past museum biennials.

Participants can experiment, play, and explore a variety of materials.

This free drop-in program is designed for all ages. MAKE at OCMA is hosted in front of the museum on Level 1 or on the Upper Plaza located on Level 2. Families must sit together for the duration of the program as projects may involve components that require adult supervision.
