LAFD Fire Service Day
The Neighborhood Fire Stations in the City of Los Angeles are expecting your visit!
The second Saturday of each May is designated as “Fire Service Day” in the City of Los Angeles - a citywide open firehouse celebration. This year's theme is "Celebrating Community Resilience", with a focus on strengthening the connections that benefit the entire community in times of crisis.
While all the LAFD Neighborhood Fire Stations are welcoming visitors, the following Focal Sites will also offer special LAFD displays and demonstrations, as well as introduce this year's four Honorary Fire Chiefs:
Central Bureau: Fire Station 12 - 5921 North Figueroa Street
South Bureau: Fire Station 112 - 444 S Harbor Blvd, Berth 86
Valley Bureau: Fire Station 88 - 5101 N Sepulveda Blvd
West Bureau: Fire Station 69 - 15045 Sunset Blvd
Additionally, some LAFD Stations offer special food, entertainment and more
*Note: Because Fire Stations 51, 80 and 114 are located on airport grounds, they cannot be open to the public for security reasons.
