LA Fleet Week 2025

- see all dates
Your ship's come in—a whole bunch of 'em actually. Fleet Week returns to the Port of Los Angeles with pier-side ship tours, exhilarating aerial demonstrations and flyovers, live entertainment, live competitions, and neighborhood activations.
Fleet Week is an annual patriotic tradition during which active military ships, including the United States Navy, Canadian Navy, and United States Coast Guard ships, dock in a major US city for one week for sailors to get some R&R.
No reservations required for ship tours, but a new free timed ticketing system is in the works, details to come.
All ship tour guests 18 years and older must show a government-issued ID card before boarding an active US Navy ship; the FAQs has details of requirements for both citizens and non-citizens. Must be 5 or older to go on ship tours; no strollers allowed. Guests are advised to wear closed-toed shoes. For safety, flip flops and high-heeled shoes are strongly discouraged.
Fleet Week offers more than just ship tours. The Main Expo, adjacent to Battleship IOWA, is open daily from 10am to 6pm. Highlights include military displays and equipment demonstrations, live entertainment, and aircraft flyovers. Galley Wars is a culinary cook-off competition between Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Army teams .Other competitions include a Dodgeball Tournament and Military Has Talent.
Neighborhood events include the Downtown San Pedro Welcome Party, which kicks off the festivities on Thursday from 5pm - 9pm, and the Wilmington Welcome Party on Friday from 5:30pm to 9pm.
Schedule:
Neighborhood Activations: May 21 - 24
Public Tours & EXPO: May 23 - 26
Free and paid parking options available.
The only way to go aboard an active duty ship is to catch a shuttle bus from the main LA Fleet Week EXPO footprint adjacent to Battleship IOWA.. There is no personal vehicle or pedestrian access to the ship tour area.
