Kid del Toro Book Signing and Family Workshop
CHOGRIN, author of the Lil’ Libros book Kid del Toro, visits the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, for a reading and book signing.
Kid del Toro tells the tale of a boy who loves his monster books but must face his fears when he meets a real monster!
After the reading and book signing, families can join museum educators for a Mini Monster workshop, where everyone can face their fears together by creating mini monsters from foam clay.
Schedule:
11am -1pm: Kid del Toro Reading and Book Signing (Lower Level Lobby)
12:30 -2:30pm: Mini Monster Workshop (Shirley Temple Education Studio)
There are two ticketing options:
- $33 for book, access to the reading, book signing, and workshop, and one adult museum admission;
- $18 for book, and access to the reading, book signing, and workshop, but without an adult admission.
One adult ticket includes the option to reserve up to four children’s tickets (museum admission for children ages 17 and under is always free). (If an adult has more than four children in their party, the ticketing system will prompt them to add another adult to the order, which would give them a second book and adult museum admission.)
Please note: the book signing is for the Kid del Toro book, purchased at this program only. No other titles or items will be signed.
