Little Tokyo's third annual Kibō Nobori Children’s Day Festival is a free family-friendly event celebrating the Japanese holiday Kodomo No Hi.

"Kodomo No Hi" means "Children's Day" in Japan and is a day to celebrate and wish for health and good fortune for all children.

Familes can enjoy music and dance performances, art installations, art and activities for children, sports & games, and snacks.

Highllights include a curated pop-up market featuring local AAPI artists, creatives and makers, (just in time for Mother’s Day!)

Featured installation artist & creator Faith-Ann Kiwa Young once again transforms the plaza and children’s playground into an immersive art experience.
