Historical Venice Cinco de Mayo Parade/Festival 2024
Venice's Historic Cinco de Mayo Parade and Festival celebrates Mexican American Heritage and the city’s cultural diversity.
The event is free and family-friendly.
The parade route begins at 10am at Lincoln and California; spectators generally line up along Lincoln from California to Rose, where the parade turns west before heading back down 7th to the park again for the day-long festival.
The street festival blends traditional Mexican cultural performances with Mexican American innovations including classic cars, traditional folklorico dancers, Aztec dancers, Mexican dancing horses, Santa Monica College cheerleaders, and a live musical performances.
Festival activities include food vendors, pia piñata, face painting, jumpers, children’s arts and crafts, prizes/raffles, Informational booths, and authentic Mexican food.
