Ice skating on the waterfront? That's hot!

Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort's Inaugural Fire & Lights Festival features one of Orange County's largest waterfront ice rinks, spanning 4,000 square feet.

Guests can catch festive screenings of holiday movies on the beach and watch the nightly Lighting of the Bay.

Along the shore, fire pits are available for s'mores roasting. On Fridays and Saturday evenings, fire dancers add some heat to the occasion. The Holiday Inflatable Garden is open daily for photo ops; the Igloo Cocktail Bar serves both hot toddies and cool drinks, (bar open Wednesday through Sunday.) 

Ice Skating is for ages 3 and up. Advanced reservations for ice skating are recommended, not required.  Rates are $20-$25 per 90-minute session, and include skate rental. Skating aids are available to rent for $10.
