Imagination takes flight as Discovery Cube LA celebrates National Aviation Day. Families are invited to explore hands-on exhibits demonstrating the four forces of flight: drag, lift, thrust, and weight.

Activities include: a parachute drop in the courtyard, building and launching paper airplanes and paper rockets, virtual helicopter tours around Loa Angeles, a wind tunnel that demonstrates the effect of wind on objects and people, building a straw rocket launcher, and making a hoop glider.

Van Nuys Airport is on site with information and giveaways on Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 3pm.
