Debbie Allen Dance Academy hosts its third annual Community Block Party.

This festive experience for families includes carnival rides, live performances by DADA, musical performers, celebrity appearances, a Breaking competition, games, arts and crafts, live radio broadcasting, and the “Dancing in the Light” series that offers free dance classes for residents impacted by the LA wildfires.

Activities are on Washington Boulevard between Western and Gramercy Place.

This year, the Block Party is partnering with Silverback Bboy Events for a 3-day free breaking workshop from Friday, June 6 -  Sunday, June 8.

Workshop inclusions:

  • DJ’ing Workshop
  • Breaking Classes
  • Pre-Qualifying Competition
  • Breaking Competition on Main Stage (June 8)

The Community Block Party is held in partnership with Councilwoman Heather Hutt and the City of Los Angeles.
